Mark T. Kelder
President
Mark, the President of Energy Insurance, is a lifelong Lexingtonian. He has been with Energy Insurance Agency since 1985 and has a broad range of insurance experience, from Contractor Insurance and Bonds, Workers Compensation, and Mining, to Deductible and Retention Programs, Directors and Officers Liability, Cyber Liability, and Professional Liability. Mark graduated from the University of Kentucky’s College of Business. He is a member at Pax Christi Church and serves on the board of directors for the Florence Crittenton Home. Also a father of three, Mark enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, watching UK sports and traveling.
Wess is a CIC and CLCS and has a broad insurance background with roles as an Agency producer, Marketing Director, Sales Representative with a National Carrier and since 2013 with Agency Network of Kentucky (ANK) as Regional Vice President. He has primary responsibility for the growth of the network through the recruitment of high quality agencies both existing and start-ups as well as responsibility for the Business Insurance Advantage (BIA) program which is designed to assist agencies in growing their commercial lines book of business.
Brock was born and raised in Monticello, Ky. After graduating from the University of Kentucky he became an assistant research scientist for a nanotech firm in Lexington for 2 years. For the last 16 years Brock has worked as a life and disability specialist, a P&C specialist, a licensed mortgage officer, and a registered representative in the insurance and banking world.
Brock joined Energy Insurance in 2014, where he still serves as the Director of Personal Insurance. Originally hired as the second PL producer of Energy, Brock has overseen the growth and development of PL to over 20 producers across Energy’s footprint.
Tonya joined Agency Network of Kentucky (ANK) in September 2025 as the Commercial Lines Placement Specialist. She has over 20 years of experience as an Independent Insurance Agency, primarily with a Commercial Insurance focus.
During those 20 years, she worked to obtain her CIC and CISR designations to help broaden her knowledge of insurance and how to best service her clients. Tonya is a resident of Nicholasville, KY, and enjoys spending time with her family and being involved at her church.

Karen brings a wealth of experience to her position, having been involved with independent insurance agencies for more than 20 years. She has been an agency manager, producer and customer service representative, making her very familiar with the challenges and opportunities in the insurance industry. In 1990 she received her resident agent license for Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance. Karen has been with Agency Network of Kentucky (ANK) since July, 2011. For 7 years she held the position as the Network Development Associate and was the primary contact for personal lines business. As of July, 2018, she took on a new role as the Agency Development Field Specialist.
Jennifer joined Agency Network of Kentucky (ANK) as the Personal Lines Placement Specialist in July, 2018. She has 16 years of experience as an Independent Insurance Agent/CSR in Kentucky with a non-resident license in Ohio. She is very familiar with the markets and the challenges in the insurance industry today. In 1997 she received her resident agent license for Property & Casualty. Jennifer is a resident of Williamstown, Kentucky, with her two children. Jennifer studied business at Interactive Learning Systems and received a certificate in 1992. She enjoys spending her leisure time outdoors.
